In just under 10 minutes, you can walk to some of the nicest streets in Kyoto with temples and cafes. However, everything around there closes quite early and becomes really quiet - so be aware if it’s not your vibe. Not a big deal for me, though. The only real issue is that the property is not very accessible: the closest bust stop is about 15 min away and...

It was in a peaceful area and the staff were always on hand to answer any questions and offer refreshments.
