"Lovely, clean property. Great central location for visiting other areas. There was a regular bus service through the village and a co-op. Check before you go to the pubs or hotel for food, they either dont do it, or it's only served on certain days or times. Don't presume their websites are up to date. The chip shop is nice, but very busy. "

"Check in was really quick & simple. Completely milk & biscuits were provided. There was everything we needed for a self catering stay. Kitchen well equipped and cleaning supplies were also provided. Nice for a family getaway."

"Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable....

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time."

"Lovely property which the photographs did not do justice! The very large living area meant lots of space for our 10 month old grandson to explore. (A lovely touch was the gift for hi. At the end of the street is the beach, pizza takeaway & 'The landing' bar so we could enjoy early morning sunrise walks to evening walks along the beach. "Clean well equipped property. Comfy bed, good sitting room. It was the perfect base for exploring the Northumberland coast. We got to see so much and walked along some fantastic empty beaches. The only 2 negative points are that Beadnell car park is only free after 6pm (always free implied in paperwork) and the village shop is very poorly stocked. "

"This first floor cottage is lovely, well appointed & easy to walk into Bamburgh. But it has restricted head height in all of the rooms, especially the bathroom. I’m 5’5” and I struggled to shower as there’s a low beam running the length of the bath. Our son is 6’4” & had to shower sat down. He also had to navigate multiple beams in the other rooms.
