"This is an older hotel that has been beautifully maintained and updated. I stayed here 3 years ago and it seemed even more beautiful this stay with the renovated bar and updated adjacent Asian restaurant. Our room was small but very clean and included more amenities than we expected or needed. And you cannot beat the location- you can walk just about everywhere. The one disappointment is how the Yes, it’s pricey but well worth the splurge."

"Très bon emplacement, très pratique pour visiter à pied. Les commodité comme la piscine et le service reçu 5/5, le personnel était très accueillant, et les enfants se sont bien amusés! On a beaucoup aimé l’option d’avoir le room service pour le restaurant. Par contre l’hôtel est quand même vieux et ça se ressent dans les chambres et couloirs (deco, bruit des salles de bain). Et points en moins pour le parking payant sachant qu’on paye déjà la chambre, le parking inclus aurait été mieux."

"I only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. Price was very reasonable compared to alternatives in Victoria. Juliette was very responsive in the run up to my stay. I was in the deluxe suite - bed/pillows were super comfortable and I had a nice desk to work from. The house was clean and there was access to all kinds of spaces/rooms throughout. If you've of my vintage and were into the Hardie Boys - her library had about 15 books from the series. Nice touch. Juliette made an awesome breakfast and was a great person to talk to. Ask her about her background - you'll end up in all kind of fascinating discussion and topics. Highly recommend staying at her BnB."
Coast Victoria Hotel & Marina by APA

"We booked this on line, and very honestly, it may have been one of the more expensive hotels we have ever booked. From some perspectives it was very good--location, cleanliness, attractiveness, staff, etc. but from some other perspectives we were not positively impressed--i.e. the air conditioning unit was so noisy we had to turn it off in order to be able to sleep, there was no shuttle service available until mid-afternoon, not when we needed it, very tiny deck, etc. Fortunately, after reporting the noisy air con unit, a very helpful maintenance person (Jay) came the next day and repaired the unit. We also were informed that we would not "qualify" for the voucher for the hotel restaurant since we booked our room with Expedia (which was never mentioned at any time). We feel the detractions were significant enough to lower our rating to a high average or good."

"Oak bay was a cute area but this Resort was all we needed for our weekend. The restaurants were good with fantastic service and the POOL! cannot recommend this report enough."

"The hotel looks old and not overly exciting when you get in but the rooms are so cute and nice, the kitchen and living room are such a nice touch. The pool area air is very humid but works well and is a nice size. I loved that there was a great game room. Overall this hotel is old but cute and practical."
