"We loved this hotel. It was in a quiet area, easy to find, and while their resturaunt was closed the night we arrived, staff provided great recomendations nearby. The hotel is comvenient for Dunvegan castle and fairy pools. We had a car situation and had to wait for service to come tow us and staff were incredibly flexible and allows us to stay slightly passed checkout. The hotel is comfortable, and has amazing kind and helpful staff. I especially liked the cows living next door, they werent highlands, but fun to watch graze around. We were very happy with our stay and loved the space. "

"We had a lovely time at the Woodenhouse. It’s such an impeccable home and the view is to die for. Skye is a lovely island and this was a terrific place to visit from although trips out on the Island do need time so you can take your time driving the single track roads with cars and sheep :) we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house than out as it was so lovely. "Wow. Skye is magical and I'm glad we stayed two nights in this house. The view from the windows of the loch and surrounding countryside is unbeatable. So many stars at night. Amazing silence. Friendly neighbors down the street let us feed their sheep. The home was our comfortable base for exploring the Quiraing Road, Mealt Falls/Kilt Rock, Old Man Storr, Portree, and the Fairy Pools. Got up for the sunrise our last morning. Didn't want to leave! Thank you! "
