"It was one of my best hotel stays. It was expensive but it's totally worth it. You felt welcome the moment you stepped off the shuttle. Hotel staffs were great and attentive. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing, food quality and selection were all top notch. Onsen on the 5th and 6th floor, got to try both of them to feel the different atmosphere. Foot spa at the main floor. If you need privacy, tub and swing chair on your balcony is another option. Love everything, definitely will go back again! "

Got the private onsen bath which is clean and amazing, polite and friendly staff - always feel comfortable with the service, everything in the room is clean and neat, really good views, also buffet dinner is offered with a variety of delicious options, no convenience stores in walking distance but that isn't important compared to the experience."

"Hotel Regina offers a daily shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko station, which was an unexpected bonus. There are quite a few local restaurants in the area, all within walking distance. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and this made our stay at Hotel Regina an absolute pleasure. The cherry on top was the best, and unobstructed, view of Mt Fuji from our room. "We enjoyed our stay at Ichinoyu a lot, room is very comfortable and newly renovated. The welcome drink and meals really showcase the hospitality of Japanese high standard. We felt being very well taken care of. Onsen environment is very peaceful, I spent the whole afternoon there looking at the trees and listening to birds sing. We had a great time and will definitely come back next time we are in Hakone."

"All staff were very friendly, the facility was clean, and there were plenty of amenities. The outside hot tub was very nice. The hotel is located far from Gora Station. If you have large luggage and need a ride to the station, you should book the hotel ride as soon as you check in. Otherwise, there are no taxis available in the morning. "

"Stayed two nights here while touring Japan from US. Really enjoyed our stay in a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The whole vibe was great, including provided kimonos, private dinner rooms, communal breakfast, multiple onsens, gorgeous garden. Meals were wonderfully traditional.Very laid back atmosphere but very professional and conscientious service. The front desk was very helpful."
