"We really wanted to get away for a few nights and relax, this spot was perfect. The area is beautiful, the house is great, the bed was comfortable, and it was nice and quiet. Towns are close enough to get some food or supplies and get back to doing nothing, Mineola, Hawkins, and Lindale are great little towns. Nelda was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay."

"The house was lovely and offered historic charm as well as modern comforts. It is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hosts were attentive and gave clear and easy instructions. Note that the house is close to the railroad tracks and the occasional train can be heard, including in the middle of the night. "
