"Basic no frills older building but clean, newly renovated with friendly helpful staff. Convenient to public transportation, airport and down town. Enjoyed the stay. "

"Weekend trip to Mall of America (MOA). Hotel has shuttle bus service to and from MOA and the airport (in each case you have to call front desk for pick-up and the wait was typically 10-15 mins). Hotel is about 10 mins from airport and about 5 mins from MOA. Had a great experience and the hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. My room was somewhat outdated but they are currently in the process of renovating, which included the dining area, so there was no hot breakfast. However, hotel did provide guests with a bag breakfast of an apple, granola bars and a water. The pool was fantastic and my 9 yr old granddaughter loved it!! The pool alone was worth staying there!"

"The apartment is exactly as described with extra thoughtful gifts. My favorite part of the layout is the skylights. There were night storms during my stay and the lightning show was beautiful. The yard has flowers and food gardens. I had a wonderful dinner prepared by Rupinder complete with a thoughtful conversation. The neighborhood is easy to navigate and comfortable to explore. Loved it. "
"The room was small, but very comfortable and perfect for my husband and i on our visit to see his childhood friend that lives in the area. Owners were very friendly and even gave us plastic silverware when our DoorDash forgot to send it. Very nice coffeehouse within walking distance as well. "

"The house was great with comfy beds and nicely furnished. I loved the location near bike paths and Lake Street with easy access to Minneapolis or St Paul. So, overall an excellent choice. A couple of suggestions from this (older) traveler:—the shower and tub are fine but it needs a grab bar on the side. —when it’s really hot out (like now) the AC should be slightly lower than the fixed 78 degrees. Nights were just too hot. —the kitchen is fine in every way, but it needs a new garbage disposal that works well.—And it would better to have slightly hotter water; it is nicely warm but I would not say it is really hot. Sorry to be a bit picky but everything else was wonderful and I simply wanted it to be nearer perfect. "

"I love to stay at the cottage any time I visit family in the twin cities. It's a convenient location close to the airport, lakes and anything you could need is a quick drive away. As a solo female traveler I feel safe staying at the cottage. It is tucked away behind the main house and gives a sense of privacy. I have used the separate space called the Nordic nook in the past to paint or relax. It's a great additional space when traveling. The details put into the landscaping, the space and decor are what makes it stand apart from other rentals. It really feels like a home away from home. "
"We had friends from all over the country fly in for a girl’s weekend and to enjoy the Minnesota Yacht Club festival—highly recommend the house and the festival! The property was the perfect place to relax and make a meal before a heading to the event location. There was plenty of sleeping space (and comfy beds), and we had plenty of hot water even with 7 ladies showering. The owner was helpful and answered questions quickly. We didn’t have kids with us, but older kids/teens would love this location with the game room and outdoor space."
