"The experience here was truly something else! Never stayed in a place like this. Our room was basic (traditional Japanese) and our meal was delicious served in the room. The amenities were excellent including baths and a lounge that included snacks and drinks upstairs. The location was incredibly close to everything on Miyajima and it felt special to be here once all of the tourists had left for the day. "

"The hotel is fantastic. Location is ideal, steps away from the ferry terminal and a short walk from the shore across from the O-torii gate. Staff is always helpful and courteous, the room was wonderful, with a view of the harbor. There is a bar that serves good food next to the lobby, and a great bakery for breakfast. The one thing we would recommend the hotel to modify is the following: There is a nice formal restaurant in the basement level that is supposed to be really good, and every sign and reference to it mention it closes at 9pm. However, last entry is at 7pm, and this is not mentioned anywhere until you actually get to the restaurant. We got there at 7:40pm, so for us it was too late, and we were unable to enjoy the restaurant. We will have to do it next time! And by the way, we would definitely stay at Miyajima Villa Hotel again. Highly recommend."

"The location was pleasant with great views and easy downhill walk to the water where you would be able to swim in the summer months. It is a location where you are away from the multitude you can relax and take in the mountain air. Beds were comfy host was lovely and generous with his garden. You must take your own food and drinks for your stay. We stayed 3 nights which we felt was enough as we are on the go persons. Also I believe general fitness is a must. Overall it was great."

"The property is very nice, clean and modern. The living room is a comfortable place to relax. Please be aware that this is a 3 bedroom property and the other rooms will be occupied by other guests. The kitchen, living room, toilets, and bathroom are all shared with the other guests. The house is lovely but has very thin walls and doors and you can hear all the other guests, even when they are trying to be very quiet. If the other guests leave early in the morning you will very likely be woken up. It is a nice place to stay but please consider this when booking. "
