"Maro was an excellent host with fantastic communication including restaurant (non tourist), shopping, and general information. Many people comment concerning the stairs but anyone who understands the typography of Dubrovnik realizes that this is what you will encounter with this magical old city. "The accommodation is perfect. There is a good sized double bedroom and if needed a sofa bed in the living area. The kitchen has enough utensils and equipment to cook. It’s a very short walk to the gates of the old town, shops and cafes. As it’s off the main strip, it’s very quiet. The patio has a lovely aspect. We had breakfast on the patio each morning. It's tucked away deep into a quiet pedestrian area, steps away from a literal hole-in-the-(city)-walls bar that looks over the sea, and just a couple hundred twisting meters from Old Town's one and only grocery store. "Beautiful house in fantastic location only short walk from The Old Town. There are a lot of steps to negotiate to get to the property so this needs to be taken into account when booking. "This home is so special. It is so clean and well appointed. Everything is so new and well maintained. The neighborhood is so private and quiet. I wish we could have stayed all summer! We rented a boat for the day and they were able to pick us up in the harbor just minutes away. We also had dinner at a beachside restaurant just down the street. There is a little store we went to every day for snacks and drinks. I would recommend finding a bigger store on your way to villa to get more variety,...

"We had a great time . Stayed a week and the location is perfect if you are a numbers person there are 139 stairs to get from the main old town level to inside the unit 😊. Everything you need is there. The beds need a bit of attention as do the sheets but didn’t effect our trip."

"The welcoming was good. The view from the balcony is truly outstanding. Overall it was a good stay. However my big problem there was the smell of cigarettes. It was overwhelming. I think the owner lives below and the cigarette smoke seeps in. It was winter. Couldn't really open the windows. "

"The owners of the property where very friendly and live on site, so helpful if you have any issues. Small things to consider. It would not put us off booking again: Could not find a tv channel in English and also no hair dryer available. ( not listed on property but helpful to know if planning your holiday) Towels provided for room but no pool towels. No WIFI."
