Don't let the naming and entrance to the hotel through the restaurant dissuade you, however, because the hotel was excellent! Our room was amazing: it was spacious and had a large balcony overlooking the lively pedestrian street below. Even though it was on a busy street, it's easy enough to close out the noise. "Pros- location, staff, clean, beautiful view Cons- club nearby if staying fri or sat night. Could hear the bass through the walls. Elevator is small in comparison to what we are used to but my partner and I are average sized and we squeezed in together every time we went up and down. We even squeezed ourselves & the 2 small carry ons upon arrival & departure! The elevator moves quick it was tolerable :) "

"Our delayed flight arrived at 3am. The staff was there to receive us. The reception is staffed 24 hours. The breakfast room was great! …and the service even better. The views of the Acropolis from the breakfast room were great. This hotel is walking distance from a lot of the main places and attractions. The metro is on Monasteraki square next door and the hop-on-hop-off buses have a stop next to it. My parents had a medical issue and the hotel staff was very quick to get a doctor to see...

"You couldn’t ask for a better location! The property was a 5 minute walk from the metro station that led directly to the airport, and within a very lively neighbourhood filled with fantastic restaurants and steps away from most of Athens’s well known sites. I would definitely recommend it to any friends going forward, and will gladly stay here again if/when I ever return to Athens. "
