Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve

"We had a nice stay at the Wyndham. Upon arrival we were greeted nicely and helped by front desk staff. Even though our room was on the first floor we had to walk up a flight of 7 stairs to get to our room. There was no elevator but they did have bellhop service if you wanted it. The room was clean and large. The bathroom set up is not a separate room. There is a small toilet stall with door next to a small shower stall with door both of which face into the bedroom. Both were very small and hard to negotiate for a larger person. We had a hard time figuring out how to manage lights in room and needed staff to come down and show us how to turn off lights in closet that shine into bedroom for sleeping. It would have been helpful if bellhop had shown us all of this upon arrival instead of figuring it out later. We ate breakfast at the breakfast buffet which had a nice variety and food was fresh and tasty. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We used the pool bar which was nice but took a while to get drinks even when it was not very busy. The pool was nice looking but too cold to enjoy for us. We tried to get to the beach but it was a long walk that was not very well marked and gave up trying to get there. We did not find it very walkable to things and were glad we had a car. Parking was good and was not hard to find a spot. Overall I think it was expensive and I would not pay that much to stay at this hotel again."

"Not a lot of amenities, great little apartments, beautiful patio area, small shalow pool. Not close to much for shopping or dinning, close to old town very limited parking in town. But hotel was wonderful."

Jupiter Albufeira Hotel - Family & Fun - All Inclusive 24h

"Jupiter is an absolutely amazing stay for both young and old. The hotel is firstly spotless, very clean and a great staff who are attentive and work hard keeping the facilities clean. The hotel is a 3 minute straight line walk from Albufeira strip - perfect for a late drink and return without paying loads for Taxis. The hotel has beautiful large and clean rooms, great balcony space and shower was strong and easy to use. The pools are very enjoyable, plenty of seats, lots of space, beautifully clean water and surroundings. It is as nice as you see it online. Lastly, the food! - incredible options for those who want to relax and unwind - limitless drink and food, 24hrs a day. The bar service is quick and they really make the drinks in front of you - no cheap pre mix, served in fancy glasses even. There is a lovely rooftop bar for drinks in the evening as well whilst watching the sunset! The food in the buffet dining halls are the best I have experienced - I cannot fault the hotel and their team for how well they present and serve the food- amazing. The staff are great as I mentioned - honestly - one of the best ran hotels you will likely ever fine. Only criticism, is, I had to leave. Basically its a great hotel, great location, and leaves you wanting for nothing. Incredible. Ideal for large or small size families - or couples as we were!"

"Really nice place to stay, I stayed in the female only dorms and felt completely safe. The staff are friendly and very helpful and there are lots of activities every night to meet others staying at the hostel. Excellent location, right in the heart of Faro, you can walk anywhere in 10 mins!"
