This was one of our favorite places that we stayed in Portugal. Placid Village was located in a quiet area, but only a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and beaches in town. Going back to the hotel was an uphill walk, but not too bad if you are in decent shape. In the evening we did Uber back. Did not cost much at all to Uber. The property is walking distance from the bus or train station. Old town is nearby. There are many restaurants nearby which is very convenient. The property is very clean and modern. The room was spacious and the AC blows cold. Communication with the host was excellent. Thanks to Claudia who welcomed and checked us in. Great service and allowed us to check in early. Great place to stay is Faro. Highly recommend this place.
