"We visited September 10 through the 16th and it was perfect timing for the weather! We had a little rain most of the days, but never enough to stop us from touring everything we wanted to tour. We did bike riding tour, Canal tour, walking tours… Just bring a light rain jacket and a small umbrella and you’ll be fine! The hotel was absolutely amazing.! We stayed there during Heritage day and came to understand why the hotel it’s in remarkable condition! There were lines throughout the days waiting to have a guided tour of this historical site. As I guess I never experienced these guest as the staff kept everything smoothly running! It’s in a perfect location! Highly highly recommend"

"A charming boutique hotel well situated. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice. My mom loved her gin and tonic in the evening. We walked every where from the hotel and we took the tram back from the Van Gogh museum. The hotel is very convenient especially to the train station. The hotel staff were so kind that they thought we had left a pair of shoes under our bed so they contacted us so we could get them back. The one thing is there are 4 or 5 steps at front door, so you will have to bring your cases up those stairs."

"If you are looking for a luxury hotel this isn’t it, but for location, friendliness and value, it’s excellent. I stayed in a small double. The bed would be small for two, but the room bathroom was spacious enough when not spending a lot of time there. Breakfast had a broad range of food. Coffee is drip, not my preference but gave me an opportunity to try out a few spots in the neighborhood mid morning. The staff were so friendly and accommodating."

"Have to say the main thing about it is the location which could not be bettered. I had a single attic room with a fabulous view of the city particularly in the evening with all the lights. The staff were exceptionally helpful and considering this whilst at the lower end of the budget for central Amsterdam hotels I could not fault it. While the room was only compact it had an excellent bathroom wardrobe facilities and was absolutely fine. I would not hesitate to come back again but in future would definitely try to stay mid week rather than weekend where the price is significantly less"
