"This was a surprise to me. I had never stayed at a Drury Inn. We didn’t know much about the city so we just threw a dart at a reasonably priced hotel. We first noted that the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Beyond helpful. Then we found out it was free drinks and dinner. Each person could have three drinks, wine, mixed drink, domestic draft OR craft beer. They know how to provide food for travelers. A nice mixed green salad was a sight for sore eyes. We had pulled pork sandwiches and several sides. Baked potatoes. Chili and fixings and for the kiddos hot dogs and nachos. Kudos for whomever plans the menus. The next morning the breakfast was amazing. Made to Oder hot waffles, biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs, potatoes, meat. Hot oatmeal and fixings. Fruit. If all Drury Inns do this it is worth it. The room was very clean and nice beds. We did book through Expedia. It was just $137 and we save a lot with the amenities"

"Enjoyed this stay. Hotel was clean, lovely, and quite grand in appearance. Room was clean and quiet. The onsite restaraunt was nice, had great options and the bartender was amazing. He remembered me from the first night and what I wanted to drink. Easy to access downtown and close to anything you would want to see and do."

Hampton Inn by Hilton Litchfield

"This made an excellent home base for my few days of outings and meetings in the Litchfield area. My room was freshened daily and breakfast offerings were more than adequate — I appreciated the real oatmeal and dried fruit and nuts available for toppings. Am not a fan of the interior design style but room was comfortable and clean and I always appreciate having the option of a continuous fan setting on a hotel AC/heating unit for masking the freeway noise overnight. Staff were friendly and helpful, located near several lunch and dinner options — was happy to find a few not-fast-food options, including a couple open until 9 or later."
