"The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night.
Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early...

The Lion Hotel reflects the environment; quirky, an architectural gem filled with ancient and beautiful furniture pieces, an historic idiosyncrasy still resplendent in faded charm. "Really enjoyed our stay, hosts very helpful and friendly. Next to the train station so this is excellent, but never heard a train whislt in the room. Close to town center."
"Excellent stay , room lovely all staff were so friendly and helpful ! Breakfast very nice , no complaints at all it was 30 degrees when we stayed ,room was very warm but a fan was provided without us needing to ask .
There is free parking but wd parked at the ncp which is literally across the road ."
"Lovely staff and a great room and shower, loads of room. A kitchen available should you want to self- cater. such a reasonable price and I would highly recommend it! 10/10"
