You can get buses (B,C)to and from the bus station which stop very near the hotel. "I can't recommend the Marsili highly enough. The property is perfectly situated just on the outskirts of Cortona center. A 5 minute walk and you are exploring a fascinating, casual, friendly, safe and fun neighborhood. Every member of the staff went out of their way to meet our needs. We loved the breakfast as it was different daily and so delicious. The rooms were large and comfortable. We sat up in bed in the morning to outstanding views of the valley. It was out of a painting. "

"We chose this hotel because it was on the outskirts of Perugia and it had a carpark. It is a lovely comfortable modern hotel. The room was spotless when I moved in, but the bins weren't always emptied completely. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. We tried the restaurant for dinner: it is Italian/Japanese fusion. Some dishes were lovely (the aubergine starter); but some were disappointing (my fish was overcooked); the others were also not enamoured....there are plenty of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood!!"
