"I stayed at the Tenuta Torre Diana hotel for a couple of nights last weekend, using it as a base for travel to the Grand Prix. All of my expectations were blown away! The hotel is absolutely *gorgeous*, packed full of history and character. Every room I went in had its own story to tell. I had booked a room with a single bed, being on my own, but the manager had decided to upgrade my stay to one of their double rooms at no charge, which was hugely appreciated. "Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....
