"Newly refurbished, however arrived after reception was closed approx. 6pm & young lady from adjoining restaurant opened for us, but didn't speak English. They only had 1 room booked yet I had booked 2, but luckily they had another room. Rooms were newly refurbished & spacious, slept really well. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant & breakfast the next morning was basic, but very nice. "

"The building and location is very lovely, the gentleman who runs the chateau was incredibly friendly and interesting. He made me and my family very welcome. The breakfast was delightful too. We have 3 small children and stayed in the family suite which was great for us. "

"We have had a great time, 2 adults and a big dog. It is quite, the facilities are very nice, in- as outsite. Had a great swim in the water. Although the sauna in infrared, it was very hot. About 75-80°c after a while. The jacuzzi was also a nice temperature. The bed was very good, the kitchen very complete. We cannot think of some minor points. "Very quiet environment, b&b with seperate entrance for guests and 2 double bedrooms with each a private bathroom tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, spaciuous shower. On a lower level towards the garden and private parking you find a little kitchen where breakfast will be served. Very friendly & helpful owner, spotless clean, great comfort. Many restaurants within 10 min drive in St.Avold. Highly recommended."
