"In a lovely setting! All the cottages are separate, some high and low, with 2 different pools. Cottages are rustic - so be prepared for that as my shower was outside. The room was clean and they provide a central water cooler. The breakfast was great, however i would recommend going somewhere else for dinner like Ladera or Rabot The staff were nice, but it always seemed like you were bothering them was asking them questions. Easy to get around if you have a car, but otherwise it's a little tricky. Close to the superman waterfalls and the sulphur springs, but still need a car to travel to them. Chocolate tour was underwhelming and as the staff seem so demotivated, the tour was very flat. However, they did make an effort on my birthday to decorate my bed, which was a lovely touch."

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Soco House, celebrating my sister-in-law's 50th with her siblings and their spouses. Everyone we met who worked there was wonderful! "I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was unacceptable — the rooms and common areas were not properly maintained and it made the experience very uncomfortable. A hotel should prioritize hygiene, and unfortunately that was clearly lacking here. The breakfast was also very poor. The food options were limited and did not taste fresh at all. It was definitely not what you would expect when staying at a hotel. The only positive part of the experience was the morning tea, which was actually quite good. Other than that, the overall stay was very disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel unless major improvements are made in cleanliness and food quality."
