"We travelled early July. The overall presentation of the hotel-from the room to gardens, lobby area, bar/restaurant was very good. Cleanliness was good. Pool area lovely. Food was varied, drinks were fine ( we went all-inclusive) Our son was too old for the kids club- but we did notice the kids doing activities and appeared well supervised. We had a hire car- it was easy then to get to Alhambra, Nerja and explore the area."

The WiFi internet is abysmal, with a lot of drop-offs. Rooms are meant to be non-smoking, but visitors do smoke on a balcony, so the balcony door needs to be shut to avoid smoke...

"I stayed at Hotel Elba in Motril for a weekend and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spotless and had a lovely balcony with views of the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was included in the price and offered a good variety of foods and drinks, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The hotel also has both indoor and outdoor pools, though I didn’t get the chance to use them, so I can’t comment on those facilities. Parking cost €7 per day, which I found reasonable for the area. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, the sound insulation is a bit of an issue as you can hear people speaking in the next room but I would definitely choose Hotel Elba again for a future visit to Motril."
