"This lovely home is well located for all sights in the Mt. Airy/ Mayberry, NC area. The host could not have been nicer. Spent a week with my son & his wife during August 2026. The central A/C was a god send. We had a great time with "Andy Griffith related" activities, breweries and wineries. Angry Troll was out favorite brewery, and our favorite wineries were Round Peak and Serre. They have live music on the weekends.We also liked Barney's for lunch; great grilled cheese & potato salad. An outstanding rental, in a wonderful town!"
