"This lovely home is well located for all sights in the Mt. Airy/ Mayberry, NC area. The host could not have been nicer. Spent a week with my son & his wife during August 2026. The central A/C was a god send. We had a great time with "Andy Griffith related" activities, breweries and wineries. Angry Troll was out favorite brewery, and our favorite wineries were Round Peak and Serre. They have live music on the weekends.We also liked Barney's for lunch; great grilled cheese & potato salad. An outstanding rental, in a wonderful town!"

"I have stayed in a lot of different homes and can't always give a 5 star rating but this homes deserves more than 5 stars. The house is beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and Betty would check to see if we needed anything. We sat out on the carport watching the rain and storm and it was BEAUTIFUL. I would absolutely recommend this home to my family and friends. I will be going back down to Mount Airy and will plan my trip to stay here again."

"Good location for doing everything in mount airy. Front desk staff was great. Bed was clean and comfortable. Room was dated, needed some repairs and maintenance in the bathroom. Like the tissue paper metal cover was rusted and had wallpaper coming off next to the sink."

"The home is beautiful, very well maintained, with full access to a pool,hot tub, games/ puzzles and game room. The location is amazing, there is a river running in the back that we were quite happy to explore The house can easily accommodate a larger group with plenty of seating and spaces to gather together and also enough space to find quiet spaces when needed. The house is very well equipped with more than the basic essentials. The house was clean and welcoming. The host was generous with instructions and very responsive to questions. They have gone well beyond the typical host property set up and responsiveness that I have experienced in other rentals."
