The drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy is by far my most favourite drive I've ever done, and it's gonna be really hard to beat that.

We were so lucky to visit Queenstown and Glenorchy in the middle of winter (June 2013, minus or 0 during the day, as crisp as you'd want your perfect winter to be) and have this absolute clear day with cracking blue skies.

The windy roads lead you through stunning green valleys, contrasted by clear blue lakes, majestic mountains topped with a crisp blanket of snow.

"The property is brand new and well maintained, with a little of smell of fresh house. The view is truly impressive— we were even able to see a rainbow from the window, which was a lovely surprise. "We had a fantastic stay at this property. The views were gorgeous and there was plenty of space for our family to all have bedrooms and then come together in the main living spaces. We did feel like some of the furniture could use updating, and there were a lot of stairs (which was fine for our group, but could be difficult for some people).
