What a fantastic find in Queenstown! The hotel is in a perfect location - 5 minutes from the center of town and 5 minutes from the gondola. The host, Richard, greeted us, oriented us to the town and the hotel. Super welcome, and we just wish we could stay longer! Bed was excellent, and room is elegant, quiet and comfortable. Highest recommendation!!

Great stay. The service is the 1st thing that jump out in this place. It is just outstanding from the moment you enter and during the stay. More about it later. The rooms are beautiful with everything a man needs. Great bed, shower, mini-kitchen, and of course the view. Parking and location is also great. If I needed to change something I would just suggest to replace the chair with a backrest chair for people that need to work. I did have some issues with the hot water, but here the service...

The Hulbert House is the best place I have ever stayed. The property itself is gorgeous and its location perfect. But what made this place so special was the staff. My friend and I had just come off a Viking cruise, where half the staff and passengers, including us, became sick with a respiratory illness. We stayed at the Queenstown Boutique Hotel while visiting New Zealand on our Honeymoon in November. The hotel is very centrally located which was important to us as we didn't have a car while in Queenstown. The staff are so friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and other things to do in the area. The free happy hour is nice added bonus at the end of each day.

Our stay at Stoneridge was just amazing. We were greeted with cheese platter and wine which was really nice as we were hungry. :) We stayed at the Arrow suite which has a lap pool right in front. Gorgeous, breathtaking views no matter where you look. Stunning views of the lake and the mountains can be seen from your bed, the couch, and even from the tub in the bathroom. A private patio surrounds you in serene landscapes and lovely sounds and allows you to totally escape and leave all your worries behind. The staff is so friendly. This cottage is amazing with gorgeous views of vineyards, and a pond with ducks! The restaurant food was delicious, and the Explorer red wine was fantastic! Then, driving to Queenstown, we stopped at the Bungy Jump spot to take photos, and walked on the bridge to talk to the jumpers!

Wow, what a lovely hotel! The location couldn’t be beat - we walked everywhere with the gorgeous lake in front, the gardens to the left, surrounded by shops and restaurants. The free valet parking was easy to use, but we really didn’t need a car. The hotel itself is historic but comfortably luxurious with high ceilings and oozing character. Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.

Aside from having to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs, this place was really great! The room was comfortable, the shared kitchen was clean, and the location was fantastic. It was just a short walk to downtown and the gondola rides. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!
