"Room was clean. I agree with others that rooms are dated but u don’t care about that as much as clean. Rooms were impeccable clean, close to much of what you want to do in New York. Close to subways. Staff was ok but didn’t really have to interact with them too much other than check in and check out. "

The second front desk agent I spoke with was unable to provide any meaningful assistance. This left us no choice but to escalate the matter to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager’s response was unacceptable, unprofessional, and dismissive. He stated that the room was not ready, refused to provide even an estimated availability time, and claimed there was no way to check with the cleaning staff—an explanation that is unreasonable and concerning for a hotel of this standard. We were finally able to check in at 8:00 PM, which is four hours past the regular check‑in time. The complete lack of communication, transparency, and basic customer service caused significant inconvenience and reflects poorly on the hotel’s operational standards. The only positive aspect of this experience was Alex, who was the only staff member who provided genuine assistance and helped resolve the situation after hours of unnecessary delays. "

"We enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. The staff were neutral, not rude but not friendly. The night staff didn’t seem to know about the parking rate that’s promoted with the hotel. However the day staff knew. Overall it’s a great hotel, safe and close to everywhere we needed."
