"I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Overall, I had a good time, but I wanted to bring a couple of issues to your attention. First, during the night of 09/06, I went to the front desk to ask for towels. The female staff member on duty was quite rude and asked why I needed towels if the pool was going to close in an hour. When I explained that my kids were about to get out of the pool, she rolled her eyes and told me they didn't have any towels available. Additionally, we noticed that one of the beds in our room was broken during our stay. I wanted to make you aware of these matters so they can be addressed for future guests. Thank you for your time and attention to this feedback."

"The Dunes is a renovated formerly "mid-budget" Quality Inn that was highy upgraded with care and style. While it is not "luxury", it is the best value walking distance to downtown. The immaculate rooms were remodeled with a sleek contemporary look and VERY comfortable beds. There is a refrigerator, no dresser, safe or desk with a chair or full length mirror but all that was fine with me. The pool area is nicely appointed with quality furniture and in a good setting with a view of the mountains. I like that a key code is required for entry to the property (other than the main entrance) as well as the rooms. This was my third time at the Dunes this season and I will definitely be returning. The front desk staff (the only staff I interacted with) is friendly and efficient."

"Pool in good condition,, self parking too expensive,, walls of rooms are not sound proof, next door neighbor had a minor screaming the second night we stayed,,,shower head leaking,,, staff at the pool was very helpful especially Refugio who offered us some water,, overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay"
