"In all of my travels all over the world this has got to be the single worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Quite regrettably I rebooked because I had to stay longer in Seattle. HUGE mistake. In 11 days, my room has had housekeeping in only once, no clean towels, no change of bed linen, and the absolute WORST member of staff Morgan, whose solution was to shout at me, demanding to know if I want to check out tonight, and mind you, it’s 9:00 pm. If you can avoid Studio 6, Mount Lake Terrace, by all means, STAY AWAY!"

"This is an amazing hotel. Every staff member was super helpful and kind. The room was great. The bathroom was very modern and spacious for a downtown hotel. It's a short walk downhill to Pike Market Place. Of course, it is uphill on the way back, but you can always take a taxi like we did! Restaurant and Starbucks without going outside. The bed was comfortable. We would stay here again."

"This is an ideal spot for a solo traveler or a couple who *knows each other well* and crucially doesn't have much luggage. Extremely good access to the ferries, the waterfront and the stadiums. The rooms are SMALL - in mine the room width was exactly the same as the bed was long, with the bed nestled along the wall with the window. There was only one way off the bed, so somebody on the far side would have to crawl over their partner to get to the bathroom at night. The bathroom is behind a translucent glass wall without much distance for sound privacy. The place is extremely modern and has a hip vibe. All the controls in the room are run via an iPad, although the blinds and lights all have switch controls as well. The iPad is OK but it’s a little laggy and it seems to have to reset after a small period. The instructions on how to cast from a phone to the TV were very easy and welcome. The view for my room was great, on the ninth floor. Staff was excellent with no exceptions. They were very helpful and friendly, even though check in and check out are done through a touchscreen. The breakfast was worth it to me, with enough variety and quality to justify the roughly $20 cost. Plus included espresso drinks! I was also able to store my luggage with them for free for a late train out, although it sounds like space can run out. I'd definitely stay here again"

Element Seattle Downtown

2/10 Terrible

"Stayed at Element Seattle Redmond while traveling with family and children and would not recommend this hotel. The cleanliness standards were unacceptable from the moment we arrived. There was leftover food from previous guests left in the pantry area, dirty cups with fingerprints, and overall housekeeping was clearly not up to Marriott Bonvoy standards. We also discovered empty conditioner dispensers in the shower, which further reflected poor attention to detail. Customer service was equally disappointing. We repeatedly had to ask for proper bedding for the pullout bed, and after requesting housekeeping while out all day, we returned in the evening to find our room had not been cleaned at all. When we spoke to management, there was little concern or apology shown. Manager Isaac was rude and unprofessional and asked, “Do you still want your room cleaned?” instead of addressing the issue properly. I also emailed General Manager Yvonne Gilbert directly regarding these concerns and never received any response or follow-up. That level of disregard after multiple cleanliness and service issues is extremely disappointing. This stay added unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be a family birthday trip. I expect much better cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service from a Marriott property and would not stay here again."
