The hotel doesn't do a Sunday evening meal but I was signposted to good local alternatives. Breakfast in the old oak dining room was great. Building dates back to 1596 with assocations to the Civil War. Landlady Helen and rest of staff very kind and helpful. Great experience as a solo female traveller"
