Easy check in, clean room, good vibes. The Dude bar was a nice touch. The only knock is the location away from downtown, but it's 9 or 15 min away from two main metro stations, so not a significant issue.

Staff was incredible; took such good care of anything I needed during my stay! Rooms were clean & the blackout curtains on the bunks made sleeping among roommates very comfortable. Personal bunk light & electrical plug was perfect. Showers were spacious enough for a comfortable shower, and the bathrooms were kept clean at all times.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, it's nice that they have a bar and a very comfortable area surrounding the bar to sit and socialize or read or whatever. We did not try the breakfast.

Loved the fun and vibrant decorations, all staff was so kind and welcoming, the rooms were spacious and clean and in such a good location to the city.

My stay was great. Great location, exactly what I was looking for in a hostel. If you are a young person going out in Amsterdam I would highly recommend the Flying Pig

I really loved this hostel. The interior design and decor was great and I took some photos of it. Everyone I shared a room with was cool and there were security features in place to keep items protected while out and about in the city. The hostel has multiple seating areas to bring a laptop to do work, and a variety of seating options and style for different comfort levels. My experience was awesome! 5/5, my only bummer was the size of the bathrooms. Location: Not only is it directly across from the beautiful and leisurely Vondel Park, it was a very short walk to the museum square (where most of the major museums are located). The staff were vary helpful

The staff were amazing! Very helpful, friendly and kind. The room was very clean. Breakfast was a traditional Dutch breakfast. My only suggestion would be for a hair dryer to be in the room. It was a hassle to always go ask to use one.

Once in a lifetime experience, everything you need, walking distance to everything including centraal train station and all other city transport. Restaurant and bar on site. Coffee houses, red light district and dance clubs are just a pub crawl away. Awesome staff, food, and drinks. Discounts for residents. Lockers available.

There's no way you can stay in a genuine centuries-old castle without spending a fortune unless you come here. It's a phenomenal find. To climb up a stairway designed for sword fighting, to wander grounds and gardens that are being tended in ancient fashion, it's just a one-of-a-kind experience. Yes, it's a hostel, and you'll be sleeping in bunk beds possibly with three hundred teenage bicyclists (though they do have family rooms) and yes the rooms can feel a little spartan albeit very clean....
