"I had a wonderful stay. The staff is so great and I had all the necessary information sent to find the hotel and details of check in. The bath was incredible and not very busy. The room was so spacious and had everything I needed. The area was great for shopping and food and if you enjoy walking, sights were manageable. "

"The room was clean however you can’t check in early, which is something you should note if you arrive before three. There is no included breakfast. There are a lot of stairs within the actual room itself, which is a trip hazard in the middle of the night. We checked out a day early as the bed was very uncomfortable and very low to the ground. "

"Short 10mins taxi ride from Kumamoto Train station, costs around 10USD for the taxi ride. Within walking distance to Kumamoto Castle, if walking is not your thing, you can take a taxi to the entrance of Josaien, which will lead you to the entrance of Kumamoto Castle as well. The taxi ride was around 5mins, and cost less than 6USD. It is also a short 10mins walk to Tsuruya Departmental Store, and plenty of cute shops in the nearby shopping arcade as well. Great location. "
