"A wonderful hotel! As soon as you step inside the lobby, it feels cozy and warm… and the smell is beautiful. The customer service was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy. The town of Queensferry is very quaint with a number of nice restaurants and pubs but is about a 15 min walk. Theres very little in the immediate vicinity of the hotel but you really dont need it as the hotel has a nice restaurant and everything you need. I’d highly recommend"

"We had a lovely time. From the moment we were greeted at reception on the first day till the day we left. Everyone was so nice and couldn’t have done enough for us. Our 2 dogs were made so welcome and our dining experience wasn’t reduced in any way because of them. Harriet should get a mention as nothing was too much trouble for her. "Easy check in, clean and well kept accommodations. Friendly and inclusive staff. Nifty old building. Nice vibes throughout. Convenient location.
I stayed in a private room so cannot speak for the dorms, however, our room was satisfactory, cool and comfy.
I stayed only 1 quick night so wasn’t able to enjoy any activities besides sleeping, but they seem to have schedules of things going on in (or around?) the hostel.

"The staff were friendly and the area of Haddington is chill and safe for women travelers. My only comment is the building and some of the interior is a bit old but its gives it character. Plus, the staff accommodated my dietary options as much as they could which I appreciate!"
