The White Lion is a very quaint, cozy hotel. Our room was beautiful. Comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This is such a cute and convenient bed & breakfast! Keyless entry made checking in/out super easy. Loved the adorable room which had a great bathroom and lovely amenities in the form of a tea kettle, coffee, tea, milk. Very walkable, very close to both train and town center. Would absolutely stay here again!!

Comfortable and clean room close to Sowerby Bridge, slthough it's a hilly walk.

Charming rooms, delicious breakfast, and a2 minute walk across a parking lot to the BPM. They even arranged off street parking for our car. I'll stay there the next time I go back.

The staff were very friendly & helpful, the food in the restaurant was excellent & the hotel was very comfortable. We will certainly stay here again.

My 3-night stay in January was nothing short of wonderful. My room was extremely well appointed and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. The restaurant food was excellent both for breakfast and dinner and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. This characterful hotel, built originally in 1725, is in the countryside' with a view of the famous...

Beautiful hotel clean room Staff very helpful. Food very good Bar staff very nice good drinks. Lots of parking.

I had a choice of hotels in Leeds or the Black Horse. I'm so glad I chose the latter. Some extra driving, but great to be in a historic building in a historic area, and so close to the motorway and service station.

Lovely hotel - a real gem

Great staff, friendly and very well informed Room was great, restaurant was excellent, bar was fantastic.

Absolutely charming! The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay.
