"Elegant hotel with friendly staff, excellent facilities, and fast Wi-Fi. There is a food store next door, as well as small restaurants and a bakery around the hotel. It is one metro stop or a 15-min walk from Umeda Station (with a direct line to Kyoto) either on the streets or through an underground tunnel nearby. There is also an easy metro ride to Shin-Osaka Station from Umeda Station for the Shinkansen. I am a walker and walked everywhere from the hotel, including Osaka Castle, the Dotombori area, and even to Tsūtenkaku Tower. But the metro lines to these places are also convenient. The room was a bit on the small side, which is typical in Japan, so it is not an issue."
