"Lovely little find! We had a lovely stay at Well Cottage Ideally situated in the centre of Holt and with easy access to other parts of north Norfolk Plenty of shops , bars and eateries in HoltThe cottage was very comfortable with a lovely large double bedroom, a single room and downstairs is a room with bunk beds Two shower rooms, one with a bath We did find though that the parking space was quite tight so really only suitable for small or mid sized car Ours wasn’t easy to park but there’s plenty of parking nearby We managed to park directly opposite on the restricted parking bay but we have a blue badge so no issues The only other thing to note is the stairs are quite steep so be careful with small children. Otherwise just perfect! David was quick to respond and very helpful I think we will be back again "

"Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for it to be serviced.  It was apparent that the previous occupants had been dog owners. The shower had been used to wash their dog as there were sandy paw marks on the shower tray and hair and sand in the drain. There were also dirty paw prints on the inside the front door where it had jumped up to be let out. There was a dog bed in the wardrobe which, on removal to allow us to hang our clothes, revealed a quantity of sand and dirt where it had been.  There was a significant problem with the shower.The temperature control did not work. Whatever the setting, the shower was scalding hot. Fortunately, Sue tested the temperature before standing in the shower otherwise should would have been badly scalded. We reported the problem to a staff member when we went for dinner. She was aware that there was an issue and kindly went to fix it for us. Somehow she adjusted the setting to a sensible temperature for us to use with instructions not to touch it.  Worse stiil, the underfloor heating was totally out of control. When we arrived "

"Enjoyed a nice half term break at Little Barn, Holt. Nicely located a short walk to the town centre, cosy little cottage, comfortable room (we used the second bedroom with bunk beds for storage/getting ready). Clean and tidy, nicely decorated throughout. We signed into Netflix via TV (no DVD player). Quick drive to Cley for the sea, we used it as a base to explore Holt and the surrounding towns and beaches. Safe parking. Sam was an attentive host, checking in on our arrival to make sure we were set. We did have an issue with the toilet but Sam was easy to contact and came out to sort the matter swiftly. There were a lack of oven trays and knives for preparing food but all other utensils we needed to get by were there. We booked through Expedia but they didn’t take payment at the time of booking so we were required to pay Sam direct but that was easy to sort and no pressure from Sam. Had a great time. Would book again."

"Amazing stay! From the gentleman at check in, to the room to staff at breakfast, everything was superb. Hotel is really really lovely, our room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Lovely touch having ice cold water and fresh milk in the mini fridge as well for tea and coffee. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was simply amazing - all complimentary, food was of a very high standard and staff couldn't do enough for you. Even on check out, the gentleman remembered why we were there and enquired as to how the wedding we attended was. The attention to little details far surpassed our expectations and we would stay here again without a shadow of a doubt. Worth every penny!"
