"Superior room good. Bar man good. Unfortunate about the refurbishments restricting areas. However the prevalence of dogs in the restaurant area and in the bar was really off putting. Not only the barking but one or two dogs were really smally and this purveyed the bar and restaurant. So much so we had to move to the back of the bar lounge to get some respite. Not good for someone like myself who is allergic to furry animals. Cannot understand why people need to come out for the evening for 1.5hrs and bring the dog. Just leave it at home or in the car, they are not your children, they are animals. next time I will bring my pet pig. But you encourage this as dog friendly. Hope that brings success for you as I will not be back."

"This place worked well for us - a group of 8, 60 years old cyclists looking for gradient friendly routes in Norfolk. It’s essentially two buildings in one in a nice location close to a decent pub. The bed bath count works for a larger group and the size of the kitchen in the Halls side meant it became the meeting place. It has basically everything you need. We messed up and lost a key and the owner was round with a spare in a couple of hours. "

"Great location but the house wasn't that clean , shower walls looked like hadn't been cleaned in months and just looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned , had to move the sofa out to use plug and really dirty behind sofa cobwebs and general dirt , ok wasn't expecting 5 stars but did expect it to be cleaned properly . see below pic of shower ! got to say it's the worst place we have stayed at sadly . "

"Excellent situation with great saltmarsh views. Old cottage with quaint charm. Cosy. Comfortable beds. Deli shop better stocked than we envisaged.We would have liked 3 kitchen tea towels and 2 Jcloths. Kitchen chairs require cushion. Definitely would stay again. "
