"We stayed in Room 1. It was spotless and spacious with tea and coffee and bottled water. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was outstanding with a good selection of hot and cold options including full and small English to healthy vegetarian options. We chose The Ship Inn because of its location within walking distance to the beach and the ability to easily get on walking trails. We went in January to see the seal pups which we did at Blakeney Point. We were surprised to find the need to book at The Ship Inn and the Maltings just down the road for lunch and dinner as they are very popular especially for Sunday lunch. The food exceeded expectations at both places. Other things to keep in mind…the bathroom is like being on a ship, everything u need, but compact. The beaches are not an easy stroll, but rather a slog through loose gravel and small stones. Great bird watching. Highly recommend! "

"This place worked well for us - a group of 8, 60 years old cyclists looking for gradient friendly routes in Norfolk. It’s essentially two buildings in one in a nice location close to a decent pub. The bed bath count works for a larger group and the size of the kitchen in the Halls side meant it became the meeting place. It has basically everything you need. We messed up and lost a key and the owner was round with a spare in a couple of hours. "

"This is a lovely, spacious property with a very well equipped kitchen and spacious bedrooms with really comfortable beds. It’s great for families, with lots of books, games and a pool/snooker room as well as a good outdoor space for games and relaxation. Perfect location for the north Norfolk coast. Would highly recommend."

"Well equipped, comfortable and what we wanted but overall the cottage is looking a little tired. The electrics need some attention, the garden is overgrown and untidy and bathroom tap needs a new washer to stop waste of hot water."

"Great place to stay. Clean and cosy lodge with everything you need. Great area for walks. Close to many places is interest, If you into bird watching, there are many places to visit in the surroundings areas. Cley next the Sea and Rsbp nature reserves. "
