"Returning customer. The barn has everything you need for extended family and dog. Very clean and spacious with all mod cons. Perfect location for north Norfolk coast and National Trust properties. Really quiet. Blessed with good weather. Felt a much longer break- very relaxing - will be back."

"Superior room good. Bar man good. Unfortunate about the refurbishments restricting areas. However the prevalence of dogs in the restaurant area and in the bar was really off putting. Not only the barking but one or two dogs were really smally and this purveyed the bar and restaurant. So much so we had to move to the back of the bar lounge to get some respite. Not good for someone like myself who is allergic to furry animals. Cannot understand why people need to come out for the evening for 1.5hrs and bring the dog. Just leave it at home or in the car, they are not your children, they are animals. next time I will bring my pet pig. But you encourage this as dog friendly. Hope that brings success for you as I will not be back."

"We hadn't planned to go away during Christmas and New Year but saw a cancellation being offered and decided it was a fantastic opportunity. Halycon House is just simply breathtaking. The accommodation has everything you need and more, I felt so lucky to be staying there. It was incredibly peaceful and a great base for exploring the north Norfolk coast. Downside is the WiFi would regularly drop out but this gave time to pick up a book and enjoy life without input from modern technology. I would return in a heartbeat. It's also a nice size accommodation to share with family or friends. Highly recommend"

"This place worked well for us - a group of 8, 60 years old cyclists looking for gradient friendly routes in Norfolk. It’s essentially two buildings in one in a nice location close to a decent pub. The bed bath count works for a larger group and the size of the kitchen in the Halls side meant it became the meeting place. It has basically everything you need. We messed up and lost a key and the owner was round with a spare in a couple of hours. "
