Luxurious Log Cabin Near Moab & Red Rock Canyons!!
10/10 Excellent
"peaceful, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed! the cabin was the perfect spot for our family vacation. we appreciated how well crafted the cabin was, all the custom detail, and how close it was to so many national parks! highly recommend!!"
"This cabin is located in the middle of a national forest not far from the Colorado border in a remote location. It is surrounded by native vegetation and wildlife. While you are having breakfast, you can often see a family of deer grazing just outside the dining room. On our drive to town, we also came across a family of wild turkeys. There is a profound sense of calm and solitude.
The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained. There is a large deck just outside the room we stayed in, and at night we could see the stars. The hosts, Rebecca and Mike are very welcoming and made us feel at home. The guests were also very friendly. It was Thanksgiving holiday, and Rebeca gave us her signature sangria, which was the best I have ever tried, and I know how to make a good sangria. It is a great place to get away from the city, relax, and visit the nearby national parks. I highly recommend it."
Cabin overlooks Moab and appeals to folks wanting to experience peace & quiet.
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay. The location was far from town—which was the exact kind of experience we wanted. The cabin was cozy and the host graciously provided wood for the fireplace which kept us warm and added to the rustic ambiance. The view from the cabin of the La Sal mountains is epic and gazing out the window each morning was a pleasure. Stargazing at night couldn’t have been better and when the host says to check out the nearby castle valley overlook for the best view in the world he’s not exaggerating. The host was very easy to work with and provided great communication and went the extra mile to make it work for us. He recommended a 4 wheel drive vehicle which makes sense for that area anyway as a prime location for hiking, 4 wheeling and mountain biking. "
"This property is not how it is portrayed on the web. Upon arriving it appeared the exterior grounds outside the cabins were not maintained. I can say that the inside was clean and cozy. There are no televisions in the property, which I knew so we brought our own. Although the kitchen has a stove there is no oven.. There are two old chairs on the front "porch" area. One of the chairs had a exposed rusty nail that my wife did not notice until she sat down and cut her leg. When we went to the area that the swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna are located we were very disappointed to find an empty pool, and non operational hot tub and sauna. The most disappointing situation was we were not notified of a water boil advisory in a timely manner.. This situation although out of the property managements control was in my opinion not handled properly, and could have caused health problems.. Past Vrbo properties we have stayed at we will return, but not this one!!"
