"The first night we stayed there, I was one of six that actually got a hot shower. The others had ground water temperature. The second time we stayed there, only one of the 4 of us got a hot shower. The hotel has serious issues with their water system. Sometimes, it also went down to a trickle. Other than this, the stay was fantastic."

"We returned to this hotel because we liked it so much, and again loved the location and surroundings of it. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. Due to the public holidays, it was very busy this time and the breakfast room seemed a bit overwhelmed, plus it was difficult to get a towel"

"A lovely old hotel with spacious rooms, a great pool area and plenty of options for dining. The hotel is next to the Galle Green which has a real vibe in the evening. A special thanks to Devatha who looked after us and also ran the historic hotel tour which we loved."
