"The staff at Hotel Mio were amazing. Super helpful and friendly. The view from the rooftop restaurant was a 10/10 and if you get a room on the river keep a lookout for the crocodile and all of the iguanas in the trees. "

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary in November 2025. Checkin was painless. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the three pools onsite. The drinks were delicious, and the food was really good. We are vegeterian, and found many options to choose from everyday. The beach was clean and beautiful, just be aware on sea serpents. Pay attention to the flags posted by the beach. The great thing is this was adults only, and the smoking areas are away from guests, so this was really enjoyable. There is entertainment by the pool, but if you want peace and quiet I suggest the pool with loungers. There were foam parties which looked fun, they had games you could play for a price. Overall it was a great relaxing trip, and we would return. Highly recommended."
