"Beautiful outdoors and indoors. Wonderful area to walk. Near the wonderful Neckar River. All the rooms are spacious, very clean, nice kitchen and dining area, bedroom is very comfortable, and the furnishings are useful and tastefully decorated. "We stayed in the apartment for two months in the autumn. Neckarsteinach is a wonderful location, and you can walk into the forest in five minutes from the front door. It wasn't the weather for BBQs but the view from the terrace is amazing. The apartment is very well set up - warm, well appointed, with a separate small kitchen, well equipped. Alexis is a great host, helpful when needed but not at all intrusive - perfect for a longer stay. It's ten minutes walk to the station for regular trains to...

"The apartment is really nice and stays cool in the summer heat. Host very friendly and helpful. For foreigners some guidance in writing (in German is fine) about sorting the garbage would be welcome - one tends to get things mixed up and may forget instructions."

Hotel Am Rathaus

Hotel Am Rathaus

8/10 Good
"The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Heidelberg’s historic centre. Restaurants, cafes, shopping, main historic sites are all in close walking proximity. Our room happened to be very large. Room and bathroom were very clean however the carpet was stained and furnishings are quite dated. The breakfast good with lots of variety."
