"Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable....

"Wonderful renovation! Extremely comfortable property with lots of space. Well equipped and near to Kelso. Need a car to get around and could do with heavier curtains in the bedrooms but overall a great place."

"We stayed at the Abbey House for a few nights on our vacation to the UK. It was absolutely wonderful! The location is stunning and the town is so quaint. We wished we would have booked it to stay longer! The host was very communicative and even left little gifts for us upon arrival. We hope that one day we can stay there again."
