One of The best places We have Ever visited. And there are many. Big recommendation, and The restaurant should get A Michelin. Not The cheapest, but worth every penny.

The staff is very friendly, very helpful. It is clean, beds are comfortable, and the complementary breakfast is excellent. Close proximity to Gare de Colmar and buses to downtown.

We loved our stay at Nouri. It was a nice new hotel, very clean, has AC, exceptional breakfast buffet. One of the best amenities is free access to the thermal pools at vita Classico.

Hotel Spalentor offers a wonderful, well run place to stay in a perfect location for access to the old town or to get to the train station. Old school kind of place wheree they give you a physical key for your room but everything is clean as a whistle.

The hotel was very nice, located in central Basel. The only downside was that it, apparently like other recently renovated hotels, did not have air conditioning (and it was unseasonably hot in Basel.

Beautiful hotel with nice amenities such as the breakfast and free mini bar. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Location is very convenient for the train station but also an easy walk to attractions. I highly recomment.

We scheduled an extra day to spend some time in the area. We were able to use the free local bus system that stopped right across the street from the hotel.

Very attentive staff. Comfortable rooms. Excellent location, close to the train station and the cathedral. Very good breakfast but pricey.

Great little hotel perfect walking distance to the Christmas markets or anywhere in the old town of Colmar. Parking was easy on the side of the hotel. Easy check in and out, nice little lounge in the lobby. Overall it’s listed as a 4 star hotel but we give it 4+.

Very close to the metro that was very convenient for traveling all over Basel

We stayed at the Steinenschanze Stadthotel the day before we took a Rhine river cruise. The receptionist gave us good instructions on how to use the free transit pass to get back to the hotel after we returned our rental car at the airport, which saved us a taxi fare. The receptionist also recommended a good Swiss restaurant within a 10 minutes walk for dinner, and gave us good directions on using the free transit pass to visit the Basel zoo. AC did not work, and the room was extremely hot even with the door open making it hard to sleep. Other than that it was a nice stay.
