"Staff are friendly, pub and grill is good but rooms were really warm at night, and it sounded like an elephant was walking above our room on the second floor. I’d suggest when booking with a child not to put us above the bar terrace, it was loud for a long time. "

Staff are welcoming, helpful, easy to chat with and really can’t do enough for their customers. "The County Hotel is a beautiful hotel right across the street from the train station in Newcastle. The room was very nice, clean, large compared to many, the breakfast was excellent, and we especially appreciated the lift for someone who cannot climb stairs. I highly recommend."
