Very difficult to photograph this church, St Oswald at Newton under Roseberry - need to try again with a wider angle lens. The Church of England website says "Parts of it date back to Norman times and it features a wonderful Norman archway across the Chancel dating from the 1100's. The chancel was rebuilt in 1827 and the Temple Moor tower added in 1901."

"Great for a quick trip from London to Hartlepool. Bed was comfy. Loo was a little noisy but l sleep with ear buds and eye patch. Green safety light for others could be an issue above the door but not for myself. Ill stay again Ta ":))"

"Our hosts could not do more to make us feel welcome and share their vast knowledge of the local area with us. They provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants, attractions and must sees while visiting.
