"Hi , my stay at the Ivy Tree was a tremendous experience from start to finish. The staff were kind , Helpful and caring for their guests. The food was excellent with so much choice . Breakfast was unbearable well cooked and varied choices also . Every where was spotlessly clean 10 out of 10 definitely. I will make it one of my must stay again places . "It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. "Simply stunning place to stay. Tucked away at the end of a picturesque country lane. Accommodation is top drawer. Peaceful and very relaxing. Walkable into Sandsend for fish and chips. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast - top notch. A real gem. "

"The property is really nicely done up and the folk who run it are charming. The local shops (within 50 yards) are superb and we enjoyed getting bread and meat from them for going home! The local pub was an excellent place to dine!"

Good location for the train station 🙂 Liked the pack in the room with the story of Beggar's Bridge, we had a walk down to it after a delicious breakfast and ended up carrying along through the woods. "Cameron and his wife have created a lovely, bespoke place to stay in Staithes. Our room was spotless and the bed was really comfy. Perfect cooked breakfast from Cameron. We would love to return. A decent hill to negotiate down to the quay and the rooms but worth the effort."

"A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. "
