"The Nohga line is superior (even to most of the common American hotel names). The vibes are relaxing, modern, but Japanese touches. The hotel is very pretty -- has a beautiful rooftop bar area and an EXCELLENT bakery in the lobby (with vegan options)!!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The concierge will help recommend places if you want to get a foot massage, or head treatment or anything and make the appointments for you. You can also rent eBikes from them if you reserve ahead of time. Loved staying here and if you get the opportunity to stay in this brand of hotels -- you should! "

"Beautiful hotel! The room was lovely, the hotel staff were very helpful, and there were many amenities (snack bar, drinks machine, many laundry machines available). The train station was just a few minutes away and about 15-20 minute walk to Kyoto Station. The area was calm and quiet at night. Also just a few minutes walk away from a convenience store. Would recommend to a friend and would definitely stay here again."

"I loved this hotel. Extremely comfortable bed and pillow, very nice staff in a quiet area with a super close bus stop and Kyoto station just a short walk away. The only thing was that there was not very good footstep suppression - we were able to hear the people above us with every step they took, which is not appreciated after long days where we need every bit of sleep"

"Close to the rail station. A decent sized room spoilt by having a double bed pushed against a wall, and the quilt cover being too big ( each night the actual duvet moved to the bottom of the bed - very uncomfotable. The bed needs to be away from the wall."
