If you want to visit Museum Ballinstadt - which you should! - you can get there easily from the Main Station by S-Bahn in 20 minutes. "

It was very busy when we visited in October, we had to wait to be seated at breakfast. They suggest „less crowded“ times, but seemed to be the same regardless. Exercise room has dumbbells, weight machine, elliptical and treadmill. All in excellent condition, but also popular. Overall, it’s a very good choice, just be prepared for the crowds.
