"I will admit when I first saw the property I was a little skeptical however it is a older property it's been around in Williamsburg forever. In this day and age if you're paying $90 for a room you really cannot expect much but at least a clean room and that is what this Howard Johnson provided. "I didn't realize the rooms were not necessarily inside the hotel but rather around the large property. Having said that, they were very nice and I would stay again. "
"Didn't like anything, the hotel was lacking in every area. The one reason I chose here was for the breakfast and that was below par. The room was not cleaned well, the bathroom was old, the AC vent was covered in dust, the TV was from 2006. This place needs to be severely renovated."

"This stay was wonderful! Everyone was friendly, accommodating and we even got a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite which we loved for our 2 toddlers to sleep in an actual room. We will definitely be staying here again when visiting Williamsburg!"
"Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. The breakfast was good concerning it was included. The hotel is located right in the middle of everything. I will definitely stay here again in the future. "

"The hotel is room nice for the price range, and the lobby is great. Breakfast was awesome with scrambled eggs each day and alternating sausage or bacon and french toast or diced potatoes, and 2 waffle makers plus the standard continental breakfast options.
The only pool (outside) looked a little green - but we never asked about it since we were using the "awake" portion of our day at Busch Gardens."
"From the first day, to the last day my experience with this hotel was everything I thought it would be and that’s excellent from customer service, cleanliness of my room to the breakfast was perfect. The only fault I seen was the indoor pool had to much chlorine in the pool and I could not see the bottom it was too mercury. Beyond the pool everything else was superb and perfect. Would definitely come back to this location."
