"The Arabella was perfect. The location is wonderful. Close to restaurants and shops and a quick ride to Upper Sedona. The red rocks appeared majestically right outside my window. The breakfast included so many gluten-free and dairy-free choices. Patricia, the concierge, was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again."

Hilton Vacation Club Los Abrigados Resort & Spa Sedona

"The resort had plenty of fun amenities and was perfect for a relaxing family trip. I enjoyed the fitness classes (yoga and Pilates). We spent most of our time in the kids pool, which we liked better than the bigger pool. The mini golf was really fun and our son loved fishing on Oak Creek. There are a few restaurants within walking distance so we didn't have to leave the property and we able to fully relax. They also had an arcade, which was really nice when we got too hot or there was a monsoon. I wish they had more games or the video games they did have were working (several were constantly not working). The only downsides were: upon check in, we were pressured to attend a time share talk and had to decline three times. The grounds are a bit dated and in disrepair. The mushroom in the pool has clearly not been working for a long time, there are tiles missing from stairs, etc. The room was also pretty dated. We had a two bedroom with a kitchen and the kitchen was very small (one person at a time only) and the electric stove was nearly useless. If you can overlook some of that, then it was a great place to spend some time. We will probably go back every summer because it's so close to where we live and such an easy way to find things for all our kids (i.e., swimming and fishing)."

"We enjoyed our stay, the kitchen was clean and helpful for a few days. Bathroom and bedroom were clean and comfortable. Golf course views were nice. The check-in team were very helpful and provided good recommendations. We would stay here again."

Holiday Inn Resort The Squire at Grand Canyon by IHG

"The property is clean and well appointed with a game room, evening fires with smores outside, and a pool/hot tub. We were very disappointed to approach the pool and hot tub to find them completely overrun with 50 or more kids, with a kids' film playing in the pool area. We never did enjoy either pool or hot tub because when we were back from a day of sightseeing, kids were always filling those spaces. We gave up. There usually weren't enough graham crackers for smores but it was a nice touch. They never cleaned or replenished our room-- we were there for two nights. I'm not sure what the formula is for getting a hotel room cleaned these days-- it's not at all clear and it's a disappointment to come home to a messy room in the evening. All in all, it was lovely but the kids seem to have priority."

"The property was well maintained, especially the exterior. The least favorite relating to the property is the room. Overall, the room was okay, but the air conditioner lacked cooling the room at the highest setting. I didn't sleep well because it was warm!"
