"In my experience, the property is unique. It is as unlike a chain hotel as it can be. It is as if a Hotel has taken over a local neighborhood! It is a whole lot of individual homes taken over and converted into a hotel. Felt like being a guest at a friend's residence rather than being in a hotel. Christopher, the gentlemen at the reception was very friendly and a fount of local knowledge which he was eager to share! Will definitely stay there again if I happen to pass this way in the future. And I recommend this place without any hesitation."

"Only 3 blocks from main street. Park your car and walk. Clean. VERY friendly staff (Susie, Natel, Daniette, and Eric were soooo friendly and helpful), great parking in the lot. Church right across the street. This was all so convenient for us."

"We stayed for 2 nights in May in a double queen room, for two children and 2 adults. Property location is convenient, short drive to Acadia as well as town center for picking up lunch and dinner. Breakfast was healthy and had options for everyone. Tea/coffee bar was well stocked throughout the day and there's also a toaster out. Would stay there again!"

"We LOVED our start at The Little Fig! The staff were all amazing, but Kina checked us in and we chatted with her a few times during our stay and she was just lovely! She also baked amazingly delicious brownies and had them in the lobby for guests! The beds were comfortable and shower water pressure was good. The breakfast was grab and go, but the choices were nice, including bottled water or juice, as well as coffee/tea/hot chocolate. (We were on a longer trip along the East Coast and Little Fig was the only hotel to offer free breakfast, so we were thankful!) It’s just a short walk into downtown area with shops and restaurants, and a quick drive to the Acadia National Park. We would absolutely stay here again if we’re ever lucky enough to be back in Bar Harbor!"
