"Great space for a couple sisters to getaway and enjoy Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Super comfortable beds, awesome hot tub right outside our door and terrific firepit and patio. Secluded in a beautiful woods-like setting yet easy and close to get to all the sights. Mule deer are like pets and walk right up to you in the hot tub or at the firepit. Steve and Ann are awesome hosts and easily available if needed. They provided recommendations and also have lots of great information...

It was cozy, comfortable, and warm (especially as it snowed while we were there.) "Overall, the house fit the description except for one major thing: the owners live in the basement! We would never have rented this place, if we knew this. I thought renting a VRBO means you have the WHOLE house to yourselves. Surprised and disappointed."
